How long have you been working for Rivers of the World?

I have currently only been working officially in Rivers of the World for one week. However, I previously worked in the Fred. Olsen Travel shop in Bury St Edmunds for a year. I started off as a cover for admin in Rivers of the World just one day a week to where I found how much I really enjoyed working for and with the river team.

What, do you believe, makes river cruising unique?

I believe it is the fact that where the river cruise ships are smaller, they can fit into the smaller spaces where the Ocean Cruises cannot. I think everyone would love the idea of just unpacking once whilst being able to visit a handful of places all in one trip. What’s not to like?

Which river cruise lines have you cruised with?

I currently haven’t river cruised at all but I would definitely like to! It’s so different to what I’m used to which is a package holiday in one resort. It would definitely kick me out my comfort zone.

Are there any rivers or regions that you would particularly recommend?

As I have not cruised myself, I would say from what I here, cruising down the Danube is a lovely way to experience a river cruise.
